glibc can't build on linuxppc with egcs 1.1b

glibc 2.0.95 doesn't work AFAIK on linux/ppc. Geoff Keating has
recently integrated patch so that linux/ppc should be working again.
If glibc 2.0.96 (not yet released) doesn't work, please report
directly to the glibc folk (mail to libc-alpha@cygnus.com).
