Problems compiling kdelibs since snapshot 1998-05-02

Hiho!

 The subject says nearly all.... Unfortunately I can't give you
 any further details because the machine locks hard...

 EGCS hangs in kdecore/libintl.cpp....
 I'm using version 1998-05-08 at the moment on linux-i486-gnu...

 BTW: Looking forward to get the latest snapshot, but at the moment it's 
 still not accessible....
