Hmm, but the warning reported was
/d2a/exper/include/g++/std/bastring.h:76: warning: inline function
`static void basic_string<unsigned char,string_char_traits<unsigned
char>,__default_alloc_template<false,0> >::Rep::operator delete(void *)'
called before definition
which doesn't appear to be platform related.
However, you are right: I did my original tests on sparc-sun-solaris2.5.1,
which worked fine, while on sparc-sun-sunos4.1.3_U1 indeed I still get
ld: Undefined symbol
basic_string<unsigned char, string_char_traits<unsigned char>,
__default_alloc_template<0, 0> >::nilRep
for egcs-current-CVS.
Contritely,
Gerald
