Well, sometimes snapshots are more stable, sometimes less. These days,
various CVS snapshots that I tried appeared rather stable, so the next
snapshot might be worth a try for you.

No, no! Your reports are certainly highly appreciated (especially as
they are well documented and easily reproducible).

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding I may have caused. I just had the
feeling that there is some project where you exercise features which do
not work in the latest release but have been fixed in the development
sources and that these "old" bugs are seriously hampering your regular
work.

My remark was only intended as a hint that it _might_ be worth a try
forgoing the stability of a release for those improvements that have
been made to the source base in the meantime.
