another try: egcs + regex

Hi,

I sent a complete report with test case before but probably it was too
big.  at least I haven't found it in the list.

In ~drepper/FOO.i.gz use find the preprocessed GNU regex from glibc.
If you compile it using the latest egcs with

	cc1 -O2 -fPIC FOO.i

the compiler crashes.

I haven't updated my egcs for almost two weeks so I cannot say when
the problem was introduced.  The 2.91.13 version I have works.
Richard started looking at this but had no time to finish it.
