Are you sure that you compiled and checked the same check out? (I once 
had the problem that regardless what I did, a bug did not disappear; it 
turned out that I modified a different tree than I compiled.)

Otherwise, can you debug it? I cannot reproduce it (x86-64-openSUSE11rc 
with -m64 and -m32) and also test-results@ shows none of your problems:
