I did not make the connection with your other mails with the following
private exchange I had with Tobias Burnus around end of MArch 2007:
I have finally found a work around: I noticed today that the problem
with GLIBC_2.4 was coming from gcc-trunk/lib64/libgmp.so.3,
so I have built gmp on the machine and moved the libraries
in gcc-trunk/lib64/ and it works!!!
I have alos googled for GLIBC_2.4 and debian (the distro for this group
of machines) and found a lot of entries without solution.
Would it be possible that you ship gmp for libc_2.3?
I have forgotten almost everything about it, but I can dig my archives
if you need more infos. One think I remember is that I have downloaded
the libgmp and libmpfr on my web site and that Tobias has added
a pointer to them (at least one of them).
Everything above from old memory since I am spending most of my time
on Darwin.
Dominique
