I've just realized that this patch was committed to 4.3. Non- 
regression patches to 4.3 need specific approval (at least). I don't  
know if you had a private discussion about it on IRC, so maybe you  
actually discussed the issue, but... letting less than 1h11' for  
others to step in on the issue is a bit short, isn't it? :)

I feel we should really try to stick harder to the rules, as they are  
only here to avoid us getting hurt (like, introducing a very annoying  
problem not long before the release). The later we commit such  
changes in the release cycle (seldom used options or codepaths), the  
less testing we get.

PS: I just noticed your ChangeLog entry has "fortran/PR35019". This  
does not trigger the script that updates bugzilla, the correct form  
is "fortran/35019".
