Is GFortran stable enough to actually use?

i updated again with svn today and bootstrapped the compiler.  it built 
fine and passed my tests.  i ran 'make check-gfortran' and it reported the 
following:

                === gfortran Summary ===

# of expected passes            14423
# of unexpected failures        4
# of expected failures          15
# of unresolved testcases       1
# of unsupported tests          16

are these the expected numbers?  it didn't fail on my tests, but it did 
fail on the following:

FAIL: gfortran.dg/char_result_11.f90 (test for excess errors)
FAIL: gfortran.dg/pr26246_1.f90 (test for excess errors)
ERROR: gfortran.dg/pr26246_1.f90: error executing dg-final: no files 
matched glob pattern "pr26246_1.f90.[0-9][0-9][0-9]t.original"
FAIL: gfortran.dg/select_6.f90  (test for errors, line 8)
FAIL: gfortran.dg/select_6.f90 (test for excess errors)

also, i'm trying to add more test cases that make sure the compiler 
catches certain errors, but i'm having a bit of difficulty getting some of 
them to work inside of dejagnu.
