where we are in respect to 4.2 release

hello,

i don't follow the mailing list(s) 100% of the time,
and a quick check over the last month or so doesn't
give me a clue...

how far away is the 4.2 release and the start of the
4.3 branch ?

i see pault has been submitting patches as if the
deadline is near .....

work is progressing on placing gfc_constructors into a
data structure (other than a linked list), but it
touches a lot of files; and thus should go into
4.3....the "when" impacts on how i do it.
