rewind statement erases input file

Rewind statements are erasing my data files.

It seems that in the last few snapshots sequential unformatted I/O changed
and is giving incorrect answers.

Have these problems been solved by resent patches that are not yet included
in the snapshots.

I am pleased with the resent performance. It compares very well with Intel
Fortran 7.1 and only needs inlining to work be right with it.
Is inlining in the future.
