Hello,
I would like to give a GNU C++ a try on ARM/uClinux platform, but even
using excellent build script provided by Bernardo Innocenti on
http://www.develer.com/uclinux/uclinux-tools.html I'm not able to build
gcc3.4.0's libstdc++. The build fails with:
checking for std::allocator base class to use... new
configure: "C" header strategy set to c_std
checking for ISO C99 support in <math.h>... no
checking for ISO C99 support in <stdio.h>... no
checking for lldiv_t declaration... no
checking for ISO C99 support in <stdlib.h>... no
checking for additional ISO C99 support in <wchar.h>... no
checking for enabled ISO C99 support... no
checking for enabled long long I/O support... no
checking for thread model used by GCC... posix
configure: Debug build flags set to -g3 -O0
checking for additional debug build... no
checking for extra compiler flags for building... -D_ISOC99_SOURCE -D_BSD_SOURCE
configure: WARNING: No native atomic operations are provided for this platform.
configure: WARNING: They will be faked using a mutex.
configure: WARNING: Performance of certain classes will degrade as a result.
configure: error: No support for this host/target combination.
make: *** [configure-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 1
Is there anybody here who succeed building libstdc++ for this platform?
I'm posting it to gcc@ instead of to libstdcxx@ in a hope to reach some
embedded gcc users.
Thanks,
Karel
