gcc and LSU rejects

I noticed from Apple's tech notes on optimizing for the G5 that
Load/Store Unit Rejects were cited as a major source of slow downs.
The tech note mentioned that a future version of gcc may include
more support for automatically eliminating LSU rejects. I was
wondering if this change was slated for gcc 3.4 or would be later
coming out of Apple's gcc branch?
