I get the same error on x86_64-linux-gnu and also on i686-linux-gnu on
the hammer-branch if I have checking enabled.
Zdenek is now looking into this, this looks to me unrelated to Honza's
change since Honza's change is not on the hammer-branch - but let's
wait and see what Zdenek figures out.
