if the offer is still open, I accept. This would certainly be a good step forward. 


You may find the following patch useful --
this is my patch to make treelang a "proper" front-end:

It is probably a bit out-of-date now.


I will personally approve any such patch as long as someone promises to keep it alive for twelve months... that is the problem.
