Yes, there is a makefile rule for the run time library. Another way to
look
at it is that all predefined Ada units are part of the library, as well
as
GNAT.* units.
One issue to take into account for splitting out the adalib is that the
files as
checked in form the unconfigured library, which is used for building the
compiler. Then during build, a target-specific run time library is
configured
by copying selected files to a "rts" directory.
