Actually, just the opposite is true. I spent 6 six hours figuring
that out. If I have an existing compiler in my $PATH then I get the
infamous error -- see my previous messages.
But if you *don't* have an existing compiler in your $PATH, how can
you compile the Ada files that comprise GNAT?
