Thanks for approving my coordinating the efforts to get 3.2.2 out.
I'll try not to break the world.
| Gaby is away at a conference this week and has only limited Internet
| connectivity, so it won't be until early next week that he will be able
| to devote a lot of time to it. Accordingly, Mark is in charge of the
| 3_2_branch until then, at which point Gaby will take over.

Well, I'd propose the following:
o I would like to make a pre-release tarball on 2003-01-29.
o We will have one week testing, i.e. from 2003-01-29 til 2003-02-04.
o If no critical regression shows up, then we can do a release on
2003-02-05.
