- Subject: regarding glibc
- Bcc:
Hi,
I am using Redhat Linux 7.1 and my glibc is not compiled to
use gs segment reg. I tested with following command
$ objdump -d /usr/lib/libpthread.so | less
libpthread.so is not compiled to use gs seg reg.
I am in need of glibc which is compiled to use
gs segment reg. So i have to download the source code and
i have to compile the glibc to use gs segment register.
How to do that? I mean How to configure the glibc to use gs seg
register.
I am telling my requirement in brief.
my requirement::
kernel > 2.4 and glibc compiled to use gs seg reg.
please help me to solve this problem
Thanks
Muthu
