For a platform to be considered for the primary list, it must have a
user base as well as
active testers and developers. It is critical that there be a
commitment from the testers

up a release for a problem is worth it. If no one tests and fixes

entire release effort is put on hold waiting for a problem that may not
be detected or

I'm not arguing for or against GNU/Linux on PowerPC, I'm just pointing
out some of the
criteria that go into making the decision.
