Disk space on gcc.gnu.org isn't so cheap; doubling the space for GCC
snapshots would nearly fill the FTP partition, and though there's been an
intention of getting a new machine it's been going very slowly.

The scripts and crontab are in CVS so people can contribute to them - so
you can implement support for snapshots simultaneously from multiple
branches if you want.  Remember that the first snapshot from a new branch
needs diffs from the previous mainline snapshot, and that the sets of
tarballs / diffs generated may differ on the mainline and on the branch.
(Currently, the tarballs generated also differ from the diffs generated -
diffs aren't generated for the ada or chill tarballs - I'm testing a fix.)
