Brad,
I haven't been able to build gcc snapshots since... well, quite a few
months now and am still having troubles (I'll be trying with todays
snapshot so this might be (I hope and pray) moot)... The failure I'm seeing
is in libiberty where configure fails "...C can not create executables...".
I have to build with --disable-multilib... Sigh...

sparcv9 bootstrap has failed on the 3.1 branch since at least February
28 with comparison errors; today it fails on the main line (updated about
10:15 EST) with
Bootstrap comparison failure!
expr.o differs
So now neither branch nor mainline bootstraps. The mainline bootstrapped
and passed make check on
