I'm doing tests with gcc-3.1 building qt3/KDE3 on powerpc-linux-gnu, but
haven't got very far yet, cause I''ve stumbled over a few gcc-3.1 bugs so
far. When I'm building qt-3.0.2 (which takes ~5h on my home machine :-(( )
with gcc-3.1, even qt's designer3 crashes with a nice SIGSEGV :-(. I would be
happy to hear about results for qt3/kde3 on other platforms though.
