Last thing I knew was that 'checker' was unmaintained.
I've always wanted to add this kind of capability to libcwd though
(which is only for C++, sorry). This is why I need -fcheck-memory-usage
I *certainly* don't want or need gcc to change the normal malloc/free
behaviour, I only want the memory access hooks back in.
