I'd like the GNU Coding Standards (and I mostly agree with Linus on how
these should be treated *grin*) to make a short list of which "editor-aware"
comments are permitted in GNU code in general; maybe we can develop some
rules for GCC based on those.
There are Emacs comments (at least I /think/ they're Emacs) all through
that parts of libstdc++ imported from SGI. I keep meaning to either rip
them out, or augment them with the vi/vim equivalents.
