sparcv9 is not fully supported, and this is the reason why the dual
-m32/-m64 configuration was disabled for the 3.0 release. Hopefully,
it will be fixed in time for 3.1 (actually, I believe all the fixes
are already in, but they're quite involved, so they were back-ported
to 3.0.1.)
