I can list some packaging-type problems now, though hardly anything to
merit a new release :-). The ChangeLog dates are in neither of the
standard formats for ChangeLog dates (problems with ChangeLog dates in
releases are nothing new; H.J. Lu released 2.7.2.3 with a ChangeLog date
where the day of the week didn't agree with the rest of the date given).
And all the version files apart from gcc/version.c (gcc/f/version.c,
libf2c/*/Version.c) still say "(experimental)" - not even "(prerelease)"
which would normally be what's appropriate for them on a branch except for
actual releases.
