Possible corruption of gcc-3.0-20010614.tar.bz2

I downloaded this snap gcc-3.0-20010614.tar.bz2 and tried to decompress.
I found this problem:

bzip2: Caught a SIGSEGV or SIGBUS whilst decompressing,
	which probably indicates that the compressed data
	is corrupted.

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to *attempt* to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

The problem isn't very far into the file.  There might have been
a network error in the download but this doesn't happen very often
since my system is directly attached to the internet (ie., fibre
to local hub).  I tried to grab the file again but so far the server
has been too busy.
