The main objective of this task, weird as it may sound, is to get rid of
the FAQ as much as possible! Specifically
o platform specific information and installation instructions should
go into gcc/doc/install.texi;
o general issues should go into our regular documentation or to our
web site;
o and only the rest should go into a new faq.html in wwwdocs/htdocs.
[ A practical note: I'll be on holidays and completely offline for two
weeks starting next Thursday (any correlation with the release of GCC 3.0
being purely coincidential), so I don't know how much we'll be able to do
before that, even though I'll try to do what I can if you send updates
before that. Or we take the soft road and you send those patches. Or, of
course, some else volunteers to process these patches! ]
