Using this, and other invocations of gcc-3.0 -v I'm fairly sure it picks
up GNU CPP version 3.0 20010602 (prerelease) (cpplib) (i386 Linux/ELF)
so I have no problems with the one used internally.
My possible problem comes from the fact that glibc-2.2.3 and possibly
others used `gcc -print-file-name=cpp` as some kind of 'trick' to locate
cpp. This may be causing a bit of the strange results I am seeing with
glibc builds.
