Right, but please be sensitive to Red Hat's preference to contribute
its work to the FSF sources on its own schedule. There is in some
cases a desire to allow customers who have funded an extension's
development to enjoy it first, for a while. In the long run, this
sort of delay can become an incentive to fund future work, and that in
turn is good for everyone else, before too long.
(I don't know to what extent this is relevant to this specific case; I
just wanted to bring it to your awareness.)
