Now this is good idea. Who may write to gcc-announce? And possibly we
could also add a 'translators wanted' note to our website.

Where should this tour go? I'd say as a note in gcc/gcc and as a topic
on our web pages. It wouldn't take much as the steps are rather easy:
- cd to gcc/po
- copy gcc.pot to <language>.po
- edit the po file header
- translate the messages
- search gcc/configure.in for ALL_LINGUAS and add the language you
translated for.
- rebuild configure by calling autoconf
Next time you run configure, all will be set up to include your
translation.
