The word new should never be used to describe anything. The word is
only relevant for a brief period in time, and for all other times, the
word is just wrong. The gcc 3.0 abi is better than calling it new.
Any use of the word new in the web pages or documentation or code
should be fixed. The release notes, or an announcement are the only
places new would fit in.
