__LP64__ defined on Alpha Linux?

The ia64 version of gcc has added a new define __LP64__ to allow
feature specific rather than architecture specific ifdefs.  I don't see
this defined in my specs file (2.96 20000117) on Alpha Linux, though.
Will it be added for the Alpha?
