Patch from pr36182, updated for trunk (nothing but a comment getting in the
way)
Thumbs crossed, this, virtually the same patch should do it.
Here for easy application; a comment in the context was different.
Regtest in progress, cris-elf and native x86_64-linux.
Can a person with easy access to a ppc64 system affected by pr36090 please
regtest for fallout? Thanks.
