Thanks Alexandre. Yes, the timestamps were messed up when I patched
the 3.0 tree with the 3.0-3.0.1 diffs. (And I originally installed
autoconf 2.14.1 to get around a bug of 2.13... always the same story
of not releasing often enough.)
