I tried that only to get stuck at strsignal.c function psignal.I "fixed" that in
the same way. But now I can't get vsprintf.c to compile. As that error looked a
bit different I just gave up and downloaded the latest snapshot.

I'm sorry to say I get the same errors. I have attached the output from my
initial run and the one where I get stuck at vsprintf.

Question do I need the libraries ? At this point Iam only going to compile linux
kernel and probably some own OS less test code that's going down as binary dumps.
If I can do without how do I disable build of them. This make environment is just
a tad to thick for me.
