egcs c++ internal error

Hi,
Sending the same bug report as I just sent to bug-g++.
I am trying to compile the maxwell word processor on FreeBSD. People
tell me this does work on Linux. I've tried this with 2.7.2.1,
2.8.1, and egcs-1.0.3a, all with the same result.
The attachment has a subset of the maxwell sources that allow to
reproduce.
Is there a fix ? I'd really like to be able to use maxwell.
