Hmm... <scratching head> Okay, now I gave the egcs-19980628.tar.gz
snapshot a try and indeed I haad no problem. Is it possible that
gmake[3]: Entering directory
`/files/pfeifer/OBJ-0207-15:31/i386-unknown-freebsd2.2.6/libf2c/libF77'
Makefile:85: *** multiple target patterns. Stop.
is somehow caused by CVS time-stamp problems?
A simple `touch libf2c/lib[FIU]77` did not help, however.
What further information should I provide to help this getting tracked
down?
