currently i have an attribute in symbol_attribute that states
whether a
symbol is from the iso_c_binding module. it should be possible to
remove
this now with FX's patch.
Yes, I was thinking about that, but I won't have time for that in the
near future (for a definition of "near" that may extend to a period
of several weeks), so please go ahead!
