I approve of it.
I would, if I were you, take the opportunity to add some
comments while you're at it. Perhaps sort the pattern rules out
from the specific dependency rules, into a list of all pattern rules for
the file, for the benefit of future readers trying to find all the
'generic' rules. But that's not obligatory.
