State-Changed-Why: Can you say how you called the configure script and with
    which parameters? Also, it might be that gcc3.2.2 fixes
    the problem already, so it might be worth trying it out.

No feedback for 3 months. Closed. According to bug 10802, gcc appears to build on this platform, 
modulo some generic installation issues under very specific circumstances. If submitter can still 
reproduce this problem with gcc 3.3, send a message, and the preprocessed source that triggers 
this bug, and we'll reopen this report.
