libstdc++/27_io/basic_filebuf/open/char/9507.c (execution test) is now failing
in -milp32 mode on ia64-hpux.  It did not fail in 3.4.0.

That's 9507.cc, for reference.  

And it does not seem to be failing for me.  Are you still seeing this?

This failure has disappeared again.  It may have been addressed by the
fix for bug 16129, or it may have been fixed by something else, or it may have
been spurious.  In any case, no need to hold the PR open.
