This is my wiki page. I was a Google Summer of Code 2019 student. I have interests in areas such as Compilers, High-Performance Computing, Operating Systems. I also have a passing interest in maths, often trying to use it not only as a tool for modeling and solving problems but also as a way to express concepts precisely.
As a GCC contributer and commiter, my goals in GCC are the following:
- Write algebraic optimizations so GCC can generate faster numerical code.
- Ensure Thread-Safety in Gcc Intra Procedural Optimizations.
Develop the ParallelGcc.
- Make GCC scale better with many-core computers.
- Teach other students how to hack GCC as well, often by showing them how I started and encourage them to develop their projects.
Currently, my multi-threading work is focused on GIMPLE, however, I might expand to RTL when I get the prototype fully working and merged to the main tree.
