I was also thinking that maybe we should somewhere document the serious 
visibility propagation we have now in place post-PR 35688, which should 
normally alleviate a lot the kind of annoyances we discussed recently 
with Vincenzo (ie, only non-templates and templates instantiated for 
non-user-types retain visibility ("default")) but I don't think that 
belongs to the *library* documentation proper.
