There's no fixed schedule, it will be done when someone is interested
and/or motivated to work on it.

GCC is free software, so anyone is welcome to contribute to it.  The
code conversion facets should be fairly simple to implement using the
POSIX iconv() function, at least for platforms where that is
available.
