I noticed it, really informative, thanks! Well, it would be nice if you
could massage all that information to an actual patch. At your ease, of
course...

PS: I restored the semicolons at the end of the macros, which I removed
in the initial commit: seem indeed convenient wrt the actual examples in
42576.
