Also, even in case you are using a single threaded thread model (the
output of gcc -v would be handy) then everything should work fine as
long as your application is still single threaded (as you reported
privately). Honestly, some sort of misconfiguration seems likely in your
system.

We badly need someone else (or you, on another, different, machine) to
reproduce the problem to begin with.
