Yes, I think Doug already figured out how (that common header)...

In my opinion, Doug and Chris, you should keep in touch and help each 
other finalizing bind and tuple: both the open issues (i.e., compile 
time performance, unnecessary workaround for 10 parameters) seem easily 
solvable in that context.
