Also, please document for real that constant in struct _Alloc_block: I mean
a comment close to it and another at beginning of the file. The constant 
itself,
by default must stay 8, consistently with the other allocators.

As a follow up patch, you should also update the documentation in docs/ext:
in particular you should document there any constant that can be tuned at
build time and add a note about the pthread7-rope problem.
